Boarding

Offering retirement boarding and rehab boarding options

Retirement Board $450 per month 

Retirement board includes 12x12 stall with near 24/7 turnout, grain 2x daily, free choice hay (alfalfa hay is an additional fee), blanket/fly mask/boot changes, holding for vet/farrier appts when scheduled in accordance with my schedule. Supplements provided by owner will be fed at no additional charge. Turn-out paddocks are an acre in size with lush grass during spring to fall and plenty of Timothy/grass hay fed over winter. Field buckets are bleached and scrubbed as they are refilled. Owner provided grazing muzzles will be placed at no additional charge. There is a sacrifice paddock for a horse with a history of metabolic issues provided they do not bully my donkey. 
***This is for horses that are fully retired and are no longer ridden.*** 
No mounted work is permitted. Lounging is allowed in the grass pasture and the arena. Please pick up any manure piles that occur while you are working with your horse.

Rehab/Lay up Board $725 per month

Rehab or Lay-up board includes 12x12 stall, turnout will be based of veterinary recommendations, grain 2x daily, free choice hay (alfalfa hay is an additional fee), blanket/fly mask/boot changes, holding for vet/farrier appts when scheduled in accordance with my schedule. Supplements provided by owner will be fed at no additional charge. Turn-out paddocks are an acre in size with lush grass during spring to fall and plenty of Timothy/grass hay fed over winter. Field buckets are bleached and scrubbed as they are refilled. Stall buckets are scrubbed daily. . 


Included in rehab/lay-up board:

-up to twice daily bandage changes with owner provided supplies

-up to twice daily oral, IM, IV medication administration

-hand-walking up to three times daily

-lunging 2-3 times per week


No mounted work is permitted.

Lounging is allowed in the grass pasture and the arena. Please pick up any manure piles that occur while you are working with your horse.
